These flowers caught my eye as I was walking along a landscaped path. I saw the bug flying around,but didn’t realize he’d landed on my flower until I saw the image on my computer screen. One of my few photos these past few weeks…I’m having photo withdrawal…cough, cough.

This beautiful Lake Emerald was easily the highlight of my trip to the Adirondacks last July. They are denizens of boggy, boreal lakes.
